Product description
The slightly winter-hardy Limequat is a unique cross between the better known lime and the kumquat. The Limequat is a small shub-like tree with round fruits. The green-yellow fruits themselfes look like small mini lemons and are fully edible, peel and seeds included. The Limquat is more aromatic but also more acidic than a lemon.
Despite being relatively frosthardy for a Citrus tree, the tree still prefers to be kept frost-free. There are cases where a Limequat survived -5 to -10C, but we recommend putting it inside during winter.
