Westringia longifolia is nicknamed Australian Rosemary. It is an evergreen shrub that flowers the entire year. It is somewhat hardy and is best kept in a pot. The beautiful, fairly subtle flowers appear in large numbers. Together with the greyish-green leaves this shrub packs a lot of ornamental value. The best spot for the Australian Rosemary is in well drained soil in full sun. The maximum height of this shrub is 1,8 metres tall and 1,5 metres wide. It can handle pruning well. Furthermore, it is well suited as a hedge as well.
