The best protection against cold for your palm or plants is achieved as follows:

1: Tie the leaves of the plant together by using elastic binder. This does not damage the stems and leaves.
2: Sprinkle mulch or leaves around the foot of the plant and cover it with a root protector
3: The spear just above the trunk is the tender point of a palm. Wrap it with climate cloth!
4: Protect the rest with the correct plant covers as described below. You can also use thermostatic heating cables under the plant covers for cold-sensitive palm trees.
